Legrand Care continues its expansion across the Nordics

Legrand Care is pursuing its European growth strategy with the acquisition of Axel Health, a Finnish company specialising in Patient Flow Management (PFM) solutions for healthcare providers and social care organisations. The transaction follows the acquisitions of Enovation in 2024 and Performation in 2025, further strengthening the company’s expansion strategy. By reinforcing its presence in Finland and Sweden, Legrand Care confirms its ambition to expand its footprint in some of Europe’s most advanced digital healthcare markets.

Through this acquisition, Legrand Care says it is pursuing a long-term vision: helping to build a more sustainable, connected healthcare system capable of delivering innovative care to anyone, anytime. The deal also creates new opportunities to expand digital care coordination solutions across Europe by leveraging the complementary strengths of both companies’ platforms.

A broader digital care offering to improve patient pathways

The integration of Axel Health is expected to broaden Legrand Care’s portfolio of digital solutions for healthcare providers and social care organisations. Axel Health’s technologies complement Legrand Care’s existing platform with patient flow management, automated resource scheduling, patient self-service solutions and care transfer coordination. The shared objective is to increase patient engagement, streamline care pathways and strengthen collaboration between healthcare professionals.

For Chris Dodd, CEO of Legrand Care, the acquisition represents “a natural next step” in the company’s Nordic growth strategy. He says Axel Health has built “a strong reputation in patient flow management” and notes that its solutions complement Legrand Care’s digital care platform exceptionally well.
